Bluegrass Camp for Kids!

Don't let your child's summer slip by without fiddling around at the PineCone Bluegrass Camp! This is the perfect opportunity for kids to get to fiddle around and learn new songs and skills. Fiddling femme fatale Pattie Hopkins of the Kickin' Grass Band will lead beginning and intermediate level fiddle classes. Classes are limited to 12 students between the ages of 8 and 16. Beginner Bluegrass Fiddle
(ages 8-16; limited to 12 students)

Bluegrass fiddle/violin instruction taught by Pattie Hopkins of the Kickin;'Grass Band. Beginner refers to those with no experience or those who play but are not yet comfortable with the basics of tuning, bowing and finding notes on the fingerboard.

Intermediate Bluegrass Fiddle
(ages 8-16; limited to 12 students)
Bluegrass fiddle/violin instruction taught by Pattie Hopkins of the Kickin' Grass Band. Intermediate students should have mastered basic violin skills and be able to tune their instruments, keep time, play the principal scales, and play a few tunes with confidence.
