There will be no groups this week, as I am playing with Carolina Tradition Bluegrass Band as part of the IBMA Bluegrass Ramble. I look forward to seeing all the groups together again next week!

Group Lessons
Group Lessons have begun and they're off to a great start! Most teachers do large groups, but I have grouped my students by both ability and age to help foster more of a community of friendship. These two little ladies are the perfect example of what wonderful friendships music can build! From day one they took to each other like peanut butter and jelly! In their first private lessons after group, both girls asked with hopeful anticipation if the other girl would be at the next group again! It makes me smile to see friendships such as this one bloom. Also, the T-shirt Miss Abby is wearing is perfect for a Suzuki class- it says, "Play with Heart!"
